Carole Berman was born in London in 1952 and worked for Sotheby’s in London and New York, later studying History of Art at University College, London, then Fine Art at Chelsea and Wimbledon Schools of Art. She chaired the Ben Uri Art Committee between 1992 and 1995. Berman’s solo exhibitions include Shamanic Heads (1995) at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery, where she has also held further shows. Her Red Sea Paintings were shown in both Jerusalem and London in 2005.
